One of the most stable and popular designs. The arms are located under the fabrics, and their angle of inclination can be adjusted to your liking. They keep the canvas under constant tension. There is also a lightweight version of it, which can be a good choice due to its cheaper price.
A special version of the traditional articulated arm awning, whose cassette fully closes when retracted, thereby protecting the fabric from the weather.
It is also called a drop arm awning, which can work on the gravitational principle or with spring tension. It can be applied in places where it can be mounted at a sufficient height. Most often it is installed for shading windows, balconies, and loggias.
It is a classic form that evokes the atmosphere of the old days, so it is perfect for shading restaurants, and gardens. Due to its rustic appearance, it can even be installed on listed buildings.
It is very strong and massive, has excellent wind resistance, and a large area can be shaded with it. It can be built exclusively on a facade or on a separate supporting structure. On an independent supporting structure, if two of them are set against each other, it is suitable for independent space coverage.

The disadvantage is that it is slower to operate due to hooking in and out. There are customers who roll it out in the spring and roll it in in the autumn. Technical informations
The structure is made of powder-coated aluminum and steel. The total width of the awning can be up to 10 m, but above 6 m the shaft must be supported. Overhang maximum 4 m.
The material of the canvas is 100% UV-stable acrylic, which is equipped with antifungal impregnation. Thus, even when rolled up in water, it does not mold. The acrylic fabric is covered by a 5-year warranty from the manufacturer
There is a tendency to motorize the operation of the awning. Such structures can be supplemented with a wind sensor. This protects the awning in case you forget to wrap it. You can read more about all this in the Automation menu.
